John Mancini’s father — a kind and quirky happily married man and father of six, now gone for 36 years — NEVER discussed his family. The only thing the family knew was that his parents were Italian immigrants who had died in the 1930s. Except they didn’t. How did these two unknown grandparents simply disappear? Why? How does such a thing happen? John’s book, Immigrant Secrets, tells the story of this search.

John Mancini will use that story to reflect on the future of records and archives.

He was the long-time president of AIIM, and is a well-known speaker and advisor on content, document, and records management.
