Board Biographies


Richard Gureski is the Manager of Central File for Godfrey & Kahn, S.C..  He joined the firm in 2007 and is responsible for managing the daily Audit Response, Conflicts, Docketing, New Business Intake and Records Management operations for the firm’s five Wisconsin locations.  As a member of the firm’s Ethics and Loss Prevention Committee, Richard helped design the firm’s conflict report and automate systems for Docketing and Intake.

Richard has over 17 years of experience in Records and Information Management spanning both the Accounting and Legal industries.  During his career he has helped author and implement policies and procedures governing Intake, File Transfers, Legal Holds, Paperless Office and Record Retention.

A member of ARMA-Milwaukee going back to 1998, Richard has presented on topics including, “The Paperless Office” and “RIM Professionals and Their Relations with other Professionals.”  He is currently serving as President of the ARMA-Milwaukee Board.

 Christine is the Records Manager for West Bend Mutual Insurance Company in West Bend, WI. She is a Certified Records & Information Management Specialist and has her AIIM ERM Master certification. She works in the corporate legal department and has been in records management for thirteen years.  She previously was a senior paralegal at West Bend.

Chris is responsible for working with all divisions of her company to assist with management of hard copy and electronic records and is working with record owners to begin to automate management of records in a new content management system. She oversees the record retention schedule and is in charge of the Records Management Advisory Committee to ensure records across the organization are managed in accordance with various laws and regulations and the record retention schedule and is also a member of the Content Governance Committee.  She also supervises the claims legal support staff.

She has been a member of ARMA since 2005 and has served on the ARMA Milwaukee Board the last three years as member at large and vice president.  Chris was a co-host at the 2017 ARMA International Insurance Industry Roundtable and regularly co-hosts the Insurance Industry Records and Information Management roundtable calls.  She presents records topics at various local organization meetings. DONALD FORCE (Past President)

Donald Force is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Information Studies (SOIS), where he teaches courses on archives and records management. In 2013, he earned his PhD from the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia. His areas of research involve records and information management pedagogy, the use and application of recordkeeping standards, and legal issues associated with records management practices in North America, and digital libraries.

In addition to being the Past President of the ARMA Milwaukee chapter, Donald is also involved in several other records organizations. He is chair of the Society of American Archivist’s Archival Educators Section and is a trustee of the ARMA International Education Foundation (AIEF), where he chairs the Scholarship Committee. From his involvement with these organizations, Donald aims to bridge the gap between records professionals and academia while providing students networking and other professional experience opportunities related to archival science.

Prior to earning his PhD from UBC, Donald earned his Masters of Library Science and Masters of Information Science degrees from Indiana University Bloomington in 2007. He also holds an MA in History from Southern Illinois Carbondale and a BA in English from Millersville University in Pennsylvania. BEN C. O’DONNELL (Treasurer)

Ben O’Donnell is a Records Analyst with the Waukesha County Records Management division in Waukesha, WI and is responsible for the continued development and oversight of a countywide records management program.  The Division creates, updates, and maintains official County records retention schedules; conducts business analyses and works with County agencies to improve information management practices; offers consultation services to County agencies regarding recordkeeping requirements; and facilitates records-related projects at the division, department and enterprise level.  His responsibilities also include providing imaging services, mailing services and administering the County Records Center, a secure County owned facility for County Records, which oversees incoming records transmittals, facilities records retrievals, and ensures destruction in accordance with County records retention schedules.

Ben has over 7 years of experience working in records and information management with Waukesha County.

Ben has been a member of ARMA since 2012 and has serving his third term on the ARMA Milwaukee chapter board as the Treasurer.

Mark Packard is the Records & Information Manager for Briggs & Stratton headquartered in Wauwatosa, WI where he directs the records management and litigation response programs.  He is responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating the records management strategy and establishes policies and procedures designed to achieve management and business goals while satisfying audit, legal, and regulatory compliance requirements.  He actively serves on the Information Governance Counsel at Briggs & Stratton.

Mark has 12 years of experience in Records & Information Management.  He gained this experience as the Evidence Manager for the Madison Police Department and the Records & Imaging Manager for AnchorBank.  Mark also serves on the Board of Directors for AIIM Wisconsin and served 8 years in the U.S. Navy.

Mark has been an ARMA Member since 2015 and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management & Marketing from Edgewood College in Madison Wisconsin and has earned the Certified Records Analyst designation from ICRM. 

MIKE KAYE (Secretary)

Mike Kaye is the Assistant Vice President for CH Coakley’s Document Management division. Mike started with CH Coakley in 1998 in the warehouse and now manages both the document scanning division, as well as maintaining custody of over 1 million record cartons for 300+ clients across Southeastern Wisconsin.

Mike’s first ARMA meeting was back in 1999, where he would provide technical support to ARMA. This is Mike’s first year serving on the ARMA board as Secretary.
